Group Finance Manager

The candidate should know how to manage effectively and provide the business with big leadership, bringing a deep knowledge and a proven record of accomplishment. Should already know how to make sense between which details that make all the difference and those that don't add value. Should know the difference between investing wisely and money wasted.

Responsibilities would include:
- Partnering with the team and developing all weekly and monthly financial closing activities, all planning, forecasting and reporting models while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both the operations and other business partners
- Managing and developing exceptional talents and encouraging the team to challenge assumptions · Promoting recruiting efforts across the network to continually hire and develop the best ·
- Managing and participating in finance and accounting activities across several locations
- Driving and working through the month-end closing processes and producing monthly financial reports
- Analysing current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue and expenses
- Overseeing and managing monthly financials, monthly forecasts, annual budgets and business plans
- Working with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that timely, accurate and automated key decision data
- Recommending, developing and implementing policies and programs that guide the organisation in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Developing financial models and analysing to support strategic initiatives
- Creating a "learn by doing" environment by engaging with on-the-floor associates and managers to promote and encourage continued customer focus
- Analysing financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
- Monitoring revenue performance closely and analysing causes of unexpected variances
- Supporting senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis

Requirements

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
- More than 5 years of work experience in budgeting and forecasting
- More than 3 years of experience directly supervising teams and developing people
- More than 3 years of experience with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
- More than 3 years of proven familiarity with concepts of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
