Employment: Full Time

The head chef of The Kitchen will be directly responsible for the sit-in, take-away and delivery.

The head chef is in charge of the different kitchen sections and represents its quality, innovation and concept.

The head chef will build on the concept by developing a database of recipes and being aware of current health and dietary trends is a must. In addition the chef is the spokesperson when it comes to interviews, articles or items on The Kitchen’s communication channels.

Responsibilities include food purchasing, food cost control, recipe building, managing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards. In addition to this the head chef is in charge of training all kitchen employees.

Creative and signature dishes come with the job, as is stock control and mineralization of wastage.

Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity (Head Chef)
- Pre-Opening experience
- Having a background in Europe or Lebanon
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a preference
- Strong communication and representation skills
- Experience in designing and developing new recipes
- Being a real foodie who dares to experiment
- Having a good sense for concept
- Having experience managing a team >15
