Job Title: Head Nurse
Department: Nursing Department

Job Summary
- Has authority and accountability for the administrative and nursing management of a designated clinical unit.
- Ensures the provision of optimal standards of patient care delivery on that unit.
- Prepares work schedules that ensure adequate staff coverage.
- Ensures cost effectiveness of the unit's operational budget and makes recommendations for purchase of supplies and equipment.
- Attends committee meetings as required.
- Organizes and participates in educational programs.
- Ensure an appropriate orientation and competency assessment for new employees.

Requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Valid license in the country of origin
- With minimum of seven (7) years current experience as RN
- Further two (2) years experience as Nurse Manager in the assigned Unit
