Job description / Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Head of Accounting and Finance for a well-reputed, top tier FMCG company.

The Head of Accounting and Finance oversees General Accounting, financial reporting functions and financial services including AP, AR and credit. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company’s finances and assets are safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with company’s policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Moreover, the Head will be responsible for building the strategic plan of the company, preparing and controlling the annual budget, ensuring that the financing requirements of the company are met, implementing pricing strategy, ensuring that all the financial controls are in place, and reviewing the work of accounting department.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with Finance
• Certified Accountant (CA / CMA / ACCA)
• 10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting with a minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Controller
• Proficiency in written and verbal Arabic and English language
