Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Are you an experience infrastructure or facilities manager? Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity in the Middle East?

Responsibilities and Tasks

* General craft, construction and maintenance work throughout the College and Campus.
* Supervising the staffs that are doing Electrical Plumbing, Carpentering, AC, Gardening and cleaning.
* Specific craft, construction and maintenance work as directed
* Trouble shoot maintenance work
* Facilitate in the maintenance of College grounds
* Co-ordinate the setting up different areas for Examinations, Graduations, in addition
* to the various functions and ceremonies that take place in the College throughout the year
* Dealing with the setup of various rooms, offices and assisting in removal and relocation of offices, rooms and equipment
* Responsibility for the up keep of maintenance stores
* Familiar with Security/Fire Safety/Health & Safety matters and traffic control etc.
* and be a member of the critical incident team within the College
* To oversee the work of the College's Maintenance Team, as directed by the College's
* prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors
* project manage, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors
* investigate the availability and suitability of options for new premises
* calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
* plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives
* manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
* direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
* ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation
