Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Propose the strategy-driven targets for the Logistics & Environment department and submit for discussion to the General Manager
• Develop the Logistics & Environment department annual business plan,as well as the Performance Objectives for the department and ensure the alignment of activities
• Monitor the progress towards the achievement of theLogistics & Environment department KPIs, set direction, and take corrective and/ or preventive actions to address any areas of underperformance or deficiencies
• Oversee the maintenance of and endorse any proposed changes to the Policies, Procedures and Processes within the Logistics & Environment department
• Ensure that the Logistics & Environment department plans,and performance are within the approved budget and timescales through providing timely and accurate progress reports to the General Manager on the operational progress of the department
• Identify the annual workforce needs in coordination with the other department heads to enable the realization of departmental objectives and plan for the optimal allocation of workforce resources
• Guide the Logistics & Environment department employees in executing the irrespective responsibilities towards the achievement of the department’s and development's overall goals
• Help instill a culture of development, guidance and performance within the Logistics & Environment team
• Engage in workforce planning and provide recommendations for hiring, progressions, and promotions

Integrated Resort Operations

• Conduct regular operation steam meeting with all the HOD daily/weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, feedbacks and action taken for service recovery, and also any staff issues
• Share feedback/insights from the periodic meetings with the General Manager
• Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks
• Collaborate with the Consultant/General Manager to obtain guidance on strategic/operational improvements in resort operations to deliver optimal customer experience and maximize revenue

Landside Logistics

• Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of logistics support across the destination
• Identify systems tools needed to implement process improvement and efficiency
• Coordinates development of solutions to complex logistics support requirements with other product support functions and suppliers
• Develop and implemen tlogistics plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routine guidelines, problem resolution and cost containment
• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Stay informed of market conditions(ocean freight,domestic drayage/trucking, international airfreight) and best practices to develop and execute strategies to flow product in the most economical manner

Supply Support

• Approve procurement of needed materials
• Negotiate pricing and shipment terms and follow up on delivery of materials needed to fulfill orders
• Review maintenance of adequate inventory, scheduling and receiving shipments of materials
• Oversee the receipand organization of inventory shipments
• Approve forecasted demand in order to provide adequate supplies.Respond and solve any supply chain problems that arise
• Review necessary documentation from both suppliers and customers. oversee the billing process and paperwork

Environment

• Monitor and ensure best environmental practices are maintained across all of the island at all times
• Propose and introduce new environmental strategies that need to be introduced at different times to all assets
• Work with the IslandRanger function to ensure continual monitoring takes place

Requirements

• Strong business and technical acumen with advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent analytical mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with supply chain operations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements
