They are currently looking for a Health Operations Specialist to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist and support development, updating and roll-out of a comprehensive Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP), Training and readiness sessions, Tracking emergency incidents, identify patterns and proactively propose solutions to minimize or eliminate the occurrence of emergencies
• Assist and lead assigned tasks in the case of an emergency and implementing of appropriate protocols and ensuring health and safety of affected persons informed by clinical decisions
• Liaise with medical facilities when patients are transferred to other facilities and physically join the patient at the facility to ensure the process is efficiently managed and to provide support to patient as needed
• Collect and assess the relevant community health and operator performance data and conduct periodic reviews of the state of community health, performance of vendors, etc.
• Working with vendors, monitoring any patients or patients serviced by non-NEOM facilities and prepare relevant updates to respective stakeholders
• Support in the assimilation of any complaints/issues/hazards/violations, develop recommendations, escalate appropriately, and monitor until resolution
• Stay up to date with new and updated information about COVID-19, and provide guidance as needed on relevant policies, protocols, and guidelines
• Assist in continuous updating and implementation of COVID-19 protocols, guidelines, vaccine distribution, and administration of COVID-19 response plan
• Actively contribute to the development and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures
• Assist in completing any requested internal or external reports related to community health operations
• Support working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Collect feedback from stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements and develop action plans
• Prepare progress reports as necessary to ensure relevant stakeholders remain informed
• Support on administrative tasks as required for contract management
• Give input to scope of work documents to support new contract establishment or renewal of existing contracts

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:
• Undergraduate qualification preferred (specialism in emergency response, disaster management, medicine, logistics/operations, or related field)
• An advanced post-graduate degree or studies in medicine, public health management is highly beneficial
• 10+ years’ experience in emergency management and/or health care operations
• Experience in emergency response operations for remote areas is highly desirable
• Must speak Arabic and English
• Saudi Nationals
