Overview

We are seeking an HR Advisor I to join the Dollar/Sterling Unit at DH HRSCD.

The Dollar/Sterling unit in DH HRSCD is responsible in handling expat payroll HR issues, and providing customer service, which includes HR matters raised by management, employees, ex-employees and some in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom organizations and providing advisory, assistive and administrative services on Company policies, procedures and programs, as well as Labor laws and employee benefits.

This position serves as a point of contact for HR matters which involves all or any combination of personnel administration, compensation, benefits, grievances, as well as other functions regarding sensitive areas, which requires thorough and sound judgement and confidentiality. Reports administratively to the applicable Unit Supervisor, or group leader.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
- Provide appropriate advice to management and employees on HR matters; including counselling, performance reviews, corrective guidance, compensation, benefits, social insurance, workmen's compensation, grievances, terminations and resolutions of work-related issues.
- Coordinate with a range of internal and external organizations to review special HR cases; such as workmen's compensation.
- Enhance and maintain high quality staff relations by establishing and maintaining an effective and knowledgeable relationship with management and employees and act as a Company representative on routine HR issues with external institutions and government entities.
- Enhance and improve employee relations by recommending and implementing changes in policies, procedures and practices which directly influence the working environment of employees.
- Handle and coordinate emergency situations and coverage on a rotational 24-hour availability basis.
- Ensure proper documentation and data management of HR cases maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Provide work direction to staff in lower grade codes in the unit.

Work as a team member and participate in any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for this position are as followed:
- A minimum of Bachelor Degree in HR Social Science or a related degree in Business and management from a recognized and approved program.
- 6+ years of related experience in the same field or a related one.
- Proficient in the English language (Verbal and Written).
