Our client represents a global management organisation with over 80 offices across the world and they now have a vacancy for a HR Generalist within their Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia. The organisation prides itself on their adaptability and work ethics to ensure they attract clients from a wide range of industry sectors including energy, financial services, health care, private equity and telecoms and as such this role can offer a great stepping stone to a more senior HR career in the future.

Reporting to the HR Manager you will work closely as a strategic team to ensure a comprehensive collaboration with both internal and external client groups in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of HR including career service and university placement schemes, associated events, handling of student and candidate enquiries and supporting the wider recruitment team to define and facilitate the recruitment strategy both locally and across the Middle East region. You will also manage all onboarding including iqama processing, delivering presentations to new staff on a local level and liaising with other regional offices to ensure employment contracts are received and all relevant documents are actioned. As you will see the employees through the whole journey you will also conduct and monitor exit interviews and manage the process including final settlements and cancellation of all documents. Administration will also play a key part of the role of HR Generalist and you will be expected to monitor iqama and Saudi visa document expiry dates, update changes in processes to the wider team and manage visas for all company employees outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Custody of corporate documents such as trade license, and personnel files and database input is also part of this role.

Requirements

In order to apply for it is expected that you will possess at least 5 years’ experience within a similar HR Generalist capacity, a relevant HR qualification and a sound knowledge of Saudi Arabian employment law and the necessary processes. In order to maintain efficiencies and updates you will have advanced IT skills and be comfortable in the use of databases to form reports and records. It is essential that the successful candidate be bilingual in both Arabic and English (spoken, reading and writing).
