JASARA PMC is looking for an experienced and highly motivated HSE Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures that comply with regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and improve safety practices.
• Provide training and support to employees on occupational health and safety practices.
• Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, incidents, and safety-related training sessions.
• Monitor and review changes in health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to promote a safe work culture across all operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, particularly in the construction industry.
• Thorough knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly desirable.
