Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented HSE Environmental Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA.

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies, programs, and procedures: Creating and enforcing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Preparing and maintaining safety checklists and reports: Regularly inspecting and maintaining machinery, plant, and equipment to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Attending site safety meetings: Participating in meetings with consultants and clients to discuss safety concerns and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors: Collaborating with subcontractors to address safety issues and conduct safety meetings to promote best practices.
  • Preparing fire and job risk assessments: Conducting thorough risk assessments for each level of work to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Conducting regular site inspections: Regularly inspecting site activities to ensure compliance with local HSE regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Communicating effectively: Clearly and concisely communicating safety information to a diverse team, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline along with NEBOSH certification or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in a broad range of construction projects from shell and core construction with in-situ concrete, steel frame or prefabricated structures to civil infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
  • Registration with a professional engineering society or other recognized body is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
