HSE Manager (Oil & Gas)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly experienced HSE Manager to join a leading contractor in the region to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on a remote project site in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of ARAMCO HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international safety regulations.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including PPE usage, emergency procedures, and risk assessments.
• Conduct safety training programs for all site personnel.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate project-specific risks.
• Prepare and submit regular HSE reports.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients on HSE matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• NEBOSH Diploma is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ARAMCO HSE standards and requirements.
• Proven track record in implementing and managing HSE systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
