IBM InfoSphere DataStage Specialist

Job description / Role

- Manage the business glossary web-based management of business terms, definitions and categories.
- Manage the change data capture (CDC) to replicate heterogeneous data to support data migrations, application consolidation, data synchronization, dynamic warehousing, master data management (MDM), business analytics and data quality processes.
- Manage the Content Collector to collect, enhance and manage email, file systems, and SAP data and documents.
- Provide analytic assessment to simplify the process of selecting information for archiving.
- Manage Data Warehouse and all the foundational building blocks of trusted information, including data integration, data warehousing, master data management, big data and information governance.
- Manage the discovery data analysis tool to provide a full range of data analysis including single source profiling, cross-system data overlap analysis, and analyse the data overlap across multiple sources simultaneously.
- Manage fasttrack to streamline the collaboration between business analysts, data modelers, and developers by capturing and defining business requirements in a common, familiar format and then transforming that business logic directly into DataStage ETL jobs

Requirements

- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum (5-8) years’ experience on management of Information Management Systems (Oracle DWH. - Teradata. - Hadoop. - DataStage. - IBM SPSS. - SAP BI).
