Information Technology Department Head (Saudi National)

Job description / Role

Report to: Chief Shared Services Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the formulation of the company Shared Services strategy
• Ensure alignment of IT Department’s efforts in implementing the company Shared Services strategy
• Monitor the development and implementation of the IT Department’s policies, procedures and processes
• Monitor performance of the IT Department against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis.
• Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with the company corporate priorities
• Develop and monitor the annual budget of the IT Department
• Oversee and guide the Information Technology team to ensure that the company functions and airports/SBUs are provided with an efficient and integrated IT system
• Ensure collaboration between IT and concerned stakeholders to understand business requirements of the company various functions and stations, and determine technology needs
• Lead the development and implementation of Information Technology security approaches and plans as well as disaster readiness and recovery plans
• Lead the development, operation, and maintenance of reliable Information Technology infrastructure to meet business needs
• Oversee the effective storage, security and confidentiality of data
• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of technology solutions for the company HQ and airports/SBUs that are capable of being integrated with existing IT infrastructure
• Oversee the effective and efficient implementation of IT Projects across HQ and airports/SBUs along with proper change management
• Oversee the collaboration with internal stakeholders and third party providers to establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that will support business objectives; monitor adherence to SLAs on a regular basis
• Oversee the timely and efficient provision of technology support to all users in HQ and stations
• Provide technical advice to Procurement Department during the development and execution of IT-related contracts
• Monitor the effective and efficient collaboration between HQ and airports/SBUs
• Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on the company Performance Management System
• Develop workforce plans and succession plans for key positions in the IT Department
• Work to provide employees within the IT Department with the required competencies through appropriate and blended learning
• Recruit talent within the IT Department

Requirements

Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• MBA or Master's in a relevant field is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
• Good Communication Skills
• Fluency in English & Arabic
• Saudi Nationals
