The role

Infrastructure Director - Saudi

This role will be based in Saudi responsible for leading Mace’s infrastructure business, creating and providing an integrated service offer which involves a combination of project management, programme management and construction delivery services to infrastructure clients across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership and strategic direction to the infrastructure business unit.
• Promoting the highest standards of safety, health and wellbeing across the team.
• Being the face of the company in dealings with infrastructure clients.
• Promoting effective communications within the business and with infrastructure clients.
• Securing projects and programmes with new clients and capitalising on work with Mace’s existing portfolio of clients.
• Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with senior client representatives.
• Recruiting, motivating and developing quality people to support Mace’s growth in the infrastructure sector.
• Managing and liaising with other directors of the business and the regional leadership team.
• Ensuring the capacity and capability of the resource made available to clients.
• Supporting and sustaining the Mace values and culture within the infrastructure business sector.
• Preparing a realistic and deliverable marketing/BD strategy for infrastructure in Mace.
• Working with marketing and communications teams in Mace to raise the profile of infrastructure and major programmes.
• Establishing appropriate strategies for delivering infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Developing realistic resource plans and budgets for project work.

Requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
• Experience living and working in Saudi Arabia.
• Capability of managing large and diverse teams.
• Tenacious and self-motivated.
• Effective general IT skills across standard business products.
• Experience across more than one sector and at senior management grades.
• Previously working in a leadership role in the MENA region.
• Experience delivering projects and programmes in excess of £500m.
• Infrastructure and major programme delivery experience.
• Established track record in the operational management of service delivery.
• Previous experience of innovation, knowledge capture and establishing best practise in service delivery.
• Evidence of commercial management acumen.
• Confidence and presence to professionally represent Mace to a wide variety of external parties.

Qualifications

A master and/or degree qualification in an appropriate technical discipline.
