Infrastructure Master Planning Expert – Riyadh

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking an Infrastructure Master Planning Expert to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and managing the infrastructure master plan for the company’s projects
• Carrying out capacity planning for failover paths, including shared sub-components, and what-if modelling
• Analysing the existing infrastructure and developing a plan to improve and expand it
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and local government entities
• Monitoring the progress of the infrastructure master plan and making adjustments as required
• Providing technical support to project teams on any infrastructure-related issues
• Developing and maintaining a database of infrastructure-related information

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering or Urban Planning
• At least 25 years’ experience on national and international major initiatives and developments. Strong background of engaging with utility providers and wider commercial and public cluster stakeholders
• Expert knowledge of developing water and wastewater master plans
• History of conducting economic appraisals, demand forecasting, cost-benefit analyses, and operating cost forecasting
• Previous experience working internationally and/or in global organisations
• Fluent in written and spoken English, ideally with Arabic language skills as well
