Responsibilities:

• Administering and operating network security devices
• Maintain expert knowledge of security technologies, leading the delivery of process and system improvements, driving implementation of continuous improvement plans and ensuring best practices are shared across the team
• Continuous identification, enhancement and improvement of underutilized features in current security solutions to maximize value
• Design and architecture of security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
• Problem-solving skills for quickly uncovering and fixing network and security flaws
• Ensure security solutions are patched and up to date
• Identify gaps and opportunities as part of continuous improvement to ensure high standards of security and performance
• Lead a team of network security engineers

Qualifications:

At least 7+ years of security experience in the following technologies/fields:

• Next generation firewall experience (like Cisco FTD, Palo Alto)
• Intrusion protection/detection systems
• Web application firewall
• Load balancer (e.g. F5 LTM)
• Cisco ISE, proxy solutions and email gateway
• Packet capture and analysis methodologies

Preference would be given to candidates with certifications such as CISSP, CCIE-Sec, F5, SANS.
