Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
• Preparation of FEED documents and drawings.
• Preparation of DED documents and drawings.
• Preparation of Bid engineering estimates for the project.
• Preparation of Scope of work and Engineering man-hour estimate of the project.
• Preparation of Scope of Work, Bases of Design.
• Preparation of Functional Specification Document.
• Preparation of Construction Scope of Work for the Contractor.
• Attend Site Surveys with Clients and Contractors to determine the requirements necessary for an accurate and competitive design proposal.
• Preparation of Complete Technical Proposal – design for the FEED.
• Involved in P&ID development for Instrumentation.
• Preparation of Instrument index and IO list.
• Preparation of Instrument Specification Sheets.
• Preparation of Cable Block diagram and Wiring diagram.
• Preparation of ILDs.
• Preparation of Instrument Hookup drawings.
• Preparation of Cable and Conduit Schedule.
• Preparation of Cable routing and IPL.
• Preparation of Material Take-Off List.
• Participate in a review meeting with the client.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to inline the engineering design accordingly.
• Coordinate with Client to understand their design requirements.
• Resolve interface issues with other engineering disciplines/contractors.
• Discuss design issues with different Vendors and propose the best solution for a given Client requirement/ problem.
• Preparation of Site Survey Report, Adequacy Report.
• Supervise a number of Draftsmen during detail design.
• Involved in P&ID development to Instrumentation.
• Sizing calculations.
• Procurement activities such as the development of RFQ (request for quotation), TBE (technical BID evaluation), & NMR (non-material Requirement) review.
• Evaluation of bids and Technical Bid Analysis.
• Involved in P&ID development to Instrumentation.
• Performed Quality control, completeness, and correctness checks of engineering and design deliverables as per company quality control procedure which is based on ISO.
• Multi-discipline interfacing.
• Aware and working experience in compliance with international engineering practices/specifications and codes/standards like, ASME, ANSI, Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), NFPA & API etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate with 10 to 16+ years of experience working in the oil and Gas industry, Refinery, Petrochemical Plant.
• Candidates with experience in Saudi Aramco Project / aware of Saudi Aramco Engineering standards will be an added advantage with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in GES / GES + in Saudi Arabia. OR GCC Experience
• Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech / BS Instrumentation Engineer
