We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Overview:

The Interface Coordinator is a critical role that serves as a liaison between different teams, stakeholders, or systems to ensure effective communication, association, and integration. The position requires strong organizational, technical, and interactive skills to manage complex relationships and facilitate seamless interactions.

The Interface Coordinator will guide the Interface & Stakeholder Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of interface issues between the project contractor and project team. The Interface Coordinator drives the process to ensure that all interfaces are identified, registered, managed, and successfully concluded in a timely and structured manner. The roles and responsibilities of the Interface Coordinator include:

  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, and other teamwork activities.

  • Overseeing the initiation and chairing of regular interface meetings in a timely manner to align or enhance information provision in line with the interface program and discipline needs.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day coordination of all internal interface issues that arise and acting as a focal point. The Interface Coordinator is expected to initiate actions proactively, expedite interface technical matters, maintain a general overview of the interfaces, and escalate any issues to the Interface & Stakeholder Manager for resolution.
  • Ensuring interfaces are identified, defined, and settled in a structured manner. The Interface Coordinator must work with interface counterparts to ensure interface deliverables are prepared and coordinated with documents for record in the assigned project management system.
  • Maintaining the interface coordination documentation to facilitate coordination activities and produce progress reports.
  • Ensuring interface registers (action logs) are kept up to date to enable tracking and identify the status of the interface definition process.
  • Obtaining interface deliverable information in accordance with the interface schedule.
