Job description / Role
A large global group based in Saudi Arabia operating within the petrochemical industry is looking for a Internal Audit Director - Saudi National. The role reports into the Audit Committee and the President of the company. The role is based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
The responsibilities of the Internal Audit Director - Saudi National:
* Preparation of the Annual Audit Plan
* Managing the execution of the Audit Plan and conducting check and reports to ensure adherence.
* Review quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure that they comply with the IFRS standards.
* Act as a focal point for the General Audit Bureau auditors, parent company auditors and the external auditors.
* Conduct Fraud investigations when directed by the Audit Committee/Management.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and corporate governance procedures and potential occurrence of fraud.
* Lead the process of Risk identification, assessment and response and monitor existing risk framework and help implement a comprehensive Risk Management Framework.
* Implement improvements and strengthen the internal control environment.
* Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements
* Must be Saudi National
* Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in internal audit
* Must have a CIA qualification
* Bachelors degree in a similar /related field
* Additional qualifications are preferred
