Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the design and implementation of International Relations policies and procedures covering all areas of activity
- Supervise day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Attend related forums, seminars, etc. to enrich network and learn about the latest developments and opportunities
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of subordinates
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the organization's values
- Define international relations strategy in line with data quality policies and in coordination with concerned stakeholders
- Develop international relations plan in coordination with concerned stakeholders ensuring alignment to international relations strategy
- Monitor evaluation of existing international relationships and highlight challenges, issues, and gaps to provide recommendations / improvements
- Supervise analysis of profile and agree on target entities to cooperate with in line with international relations strategic objectives and priorities
- Conduct initial contact with target entities and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders in line with set plan and schedule
- Review developed MOUs and finalize and ensure sign-off based on meetings outcomes in line with pre-set expectations and legal requirements
- Assess highlighted gaps in existing MOUs and update terms and conditions in line with national needs and international trends in coordination with concerned stakeholders
- Define action plans to maintain bilateral and multilateral statistical cooperation in order to improve overall and worldwide quality of official statistics
- Monitor the dissemination of statistical data and metadata in line with developed action plan, policies, and procedures
- Guide public sharing of statistical documents, reports, and programs to international concerned stakeholders
- Communicate with concerned internal functions to update international statistical methodologies and ensure alignment with international standards
- Participate in joint committees to update international statistical methodologies based on new or amended methodologies
- Participate in international statistical conventions, conferences, and symposiums to promote the exchange of statistical information
- Supervise the organization of official delegations visits' logistics to the organization in coordination with concerned international entities and provide recommendations
- Manage inquiries and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner and in line with action plan, policies, and procedures
- Provide corrective actions for missing data in line with international indicators and communicate with concerned stakeholders for implementation
- Identify and define KPIs to measure MOUs implementation based on international relations strategy and objectives
- Review and evaluate developed report to provide corrective actions / recommendations to be integrated in the next planning cycle in coordination with concerned international entities and provide recommendations
- Keep abreast with latest studies, trends, and international indicators to update / improve data disseminated

Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience in an International Relations field
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy or equivalent is required
