Job description / Role
• Provides IP Network specialist support.
• Configures IP Network Layer 2/3 for specific requirements.
• Provide field service specialist support.
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems.
• Member of a highly robust civilian team to provide support both in barracks and during long-term deployments.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
• Minumim of CCNA routing and switching certificate.
• Two years technical training at an accredited school (4 years of related experience can be substituted for 2 years of technical training) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of data networking experience with cisco routing and switching.
• Must be experienced in engineering, installation, configuration, and operation of IP-Networks within both WAN and LAN enviorments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work additional hours in order to complete working priorities on an occasional basis.
• Must have a current driving license from country of origin.
