Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Description:

• Perform continuous training sessions for Faculty in the use of current technology in Classroom environment, and provide support for Students and Parents regarding the use of technology and e-learning platforms
• Conduct Student & Parents Orientation Sessions on Usage of Technology in Education
• Liaise with school Faculty to schedule training, assess further training needs, and prepare progress reports.
• Gather information documenting the effectiveness of the program, interpret this information, and provide constructive input in evaluating the program.
• Organize and deliver staff development opportunities that support the use of technology in education
• Provide Helpdesk and Tech Support for Faculty & Students in relation to Software issues.
• Participate in the development of activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas
• Maintains current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology.
• Perform research and attend training sessions to keep up with the latest technological best practices in the industry
• Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks.
• Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up equipment where appropriate.
• Deliver training programs in formal (a classroom), or online (eLearning and webinar) settings.
• Adapt the training program to trainees needs
• Support and Coach learners using learning technologies to deliver required skills
• Maintain appropriate records of learner development. Complete daily time sheets and progress reports with signature of authorized school staff
• Report to CTS office if school has break or shortened school hours

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Excellent Communication, Presentation and Training skills
• Strong Personal planning and time management skills
• Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Windows and Office Application)
• Knowledge of eLearning Solutions is a plus
• Diploma’s degree or higher in Teaching is an advantage
• Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience

Required Previous Experience (must have):

• Previous Experience in setting up and maintaining Microsoft Domain server, including installation and setup of group policies
• Previous Experience in setting up and maintaining Microsoft Active directory

Required Previous Experience (good to have):

• Setting up SharePoint and training users how to use it
• Laptop Hardware repairs
• Azure cloud services
• VLAN and load balancing
• Preparing Computer Images using Norton Ghost or Clonezilla
• 3 to 5 Years’ experience

- Use adequate voice tone/level, body language, and the language of the presentation/training
