IT Assistant

Job description / Role

Diagnose computer problems, monitor computer processing systems, install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs. Activities to run systems and internet smoothly.

Computer Technician Responsibilities:

• Setting up hardware and installing and configure software and drivers
• Maintaining and repairing technological equipment or peripheral devices
• Installing well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components (servers, IPs etc.)
• Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
• Support and troubleshooting of computer performance;
• Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
• Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary
• Set up new computer systems and perform routine maintenance
• Networking, Cables installation, testing
• Printing, Scanning and Sharing on network.
• Ensure that Internet security software is updated and running properly.

VoIP phone support including:

• Configure IP phones and assigning IPs.
• Troubleshoot IP phones issues

Networking responsibilities:

• Check Static IPs
• Test cable connections
• Install Printers, drivers and configuring Scan accounts and sharing.
• Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality.
• Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work has context menu

Requirements

• Experience - 3+ years
• Education : Degree/Relevant
