IT Director - Hospitality Group

Our client, a hospitality group in Saudi requires an IT Director to join them in Riyadh. The main purpose of the role is to plan, organise, monitor and control all the activities of the IT function for efficiency, including actively contributing to formulating and developing IT strategies and plans consistent with the overall business strategy and objectives.

Ensure enhancements to the IT systems and programs according to the business requirements and requisite guidance / support to increase efficiency of operations. Manages / supervises critical / major IT projects and develops proposals to Top Management relating to systems integration, hardware / software replacements, major IT developmental projects and work simplification so as to improve work efficiency and productivity. Maintains updated knowledge of industry standards, patterns, trends, principles, practices, and techniques in all aspects of information technology.

Requirements

Suitable candidates will have a graduate degree in Computer Science or IT with around 8-10 years of progressive IT - related experience including 3 - 5 years as Head of the IT-function for a reputed contracting company in the region. You will have experience in Oracle Cloud. You will have excellent Planning and Organising skills, Analytical and Problem Solving skills, Negotiation skills, Interpersonal skills, Customer Orientation skills and Multi-tasking skills.
