Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large Multinational Company in IT Software and Solutions.
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for Drafting/updating & publishing project Artefacts & templates for daily project documentation & management, prepare a yearly plan with project prioritization & resource assignment (Portfolio Management), management of project risks, issues and provide guidance for PM’s, develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. You should also provide technical expertise to solution implementation activities; system installation, system configuration/customizations, technical writing, and end-user training to ensure successful project execution. Provide guidance to other assigned technical support resources to support services delivery. The candidate will also Coordinate staff and internal resources, managing project progress and adapt work as required, ensuring projects meet deadlines, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, designing, and signing off on contracts, overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation. Participating in the tender process i.e. design, submission, and review, Designing risk mitigation plan, conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff, optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary, and securing growth opportunities, and initiating new projects.
Requirements
To be successful you would need PMs with IT or Computer Science background and education, preferable with PMP. Must have written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English, capacity to manage high-stress situations, ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously. Ability to manage large and diverse teams, having big picture thinking and vision, attention to detail, and conflict resolution skills.
