IT Specialist

Job description / Role

Your Impact

* Oversee network management, database administration and software development
* Manage daily operations of the IT Department
* Define network, hardware and software requirements
* Assess infrastructure to ensure IT continues to meet demands
* Develop IT procedures to increase efficiency and enhance and improve customer satisfaction and workflow
* Assist with the installation of new software and hardware and train employees on their use
* Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means
* Propose new ideas for upgrades and changes within the IT Department
* Troubleshoot (to resolution where possible) end user issues
* Install hardware and software
* Carry out administration and ongoing maintenance of the Active Directory and Exchange
* Support end user issues with Microsoft Office

What you should bring:

* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
* Experience in remote and end user support
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop computing
* Motivation to invest time in developing your technical skills
* Excellent analytical, process-oriented, organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to manage and prioritize your workloads
* Ability to work well under pressure and work to deadlines
