Job description / Role
Amaris is currently expanding its team in Saudi Arabia and is looking for an experienced IT specialist in Airline industry.
Your responsibilities while on projects are:
• Distribute engagement documentation to airlines and carry out activities, such as phone calls, face-to-face meetings, workshops and briefings, to ensure airline staff understand this documentation and their responsibilities
• Communicate to airline staff any target dates and obtain progress regarding these dates
• Translation from English to Arabic of engagement documentation where required
• Participate in government customer meetings with airlines as required
• Following standard AEM process and using tools as defined by AEM team, including forecasting and recording airline status
• Internal and external government customer reporting weekly, or at an interval agreed with manager, on status of airline progress
• In-country Single Point of Contact for receiving queries or complaints regarding any iBorders system or data related issues raised by airlines or government customer; such issues to be logged and followed through to resolution with assistance, where necessary, from the staff.
Requirements
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the airline industry
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IT and specifically the ATI industry and economic drivers
• Advanced user of MS Office applications, and collaboration tools (Sharepoint).
• Very competent in MS Project and/or other project management tools.
• Arabic fluency
