Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To ensure the efficient and effective entry and undertaking of all examinations throughout the academic year including compliance with all examining body requirements and recording and distribution of results. It is expected that the examinations officer be available to work in order to process examination results when they come in.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee all arrangements for all public examination entries eg. Cambridge English, CIT and SSS Capstone
- Organise the collection of registration and any examination fees, organising, invoicing and ensuring money collected is credited to the relevant account, in liaison with the Finance Manager
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of entries to examining bodies
- Ensure all examination papers and stationary are produced, being responsible for their strict security and ensuring completed papers are dispatched promptly and appropriately
- Be responsible for arrangements f r the conduct of existing and new examinations including the provision of accommodation
- Be the main point of contact for examining bodies
- Liaise with college departments including IT support to ensure appropriate resources are available for on line examinations
- Coordinate the team of invigilators with the support of Lad Invigilators, including training, and deployment of invigilation staff
- Make appropriate timetabling and room arrangements for the above, ensuring proper examination invigilation of the examinations is put in place
- Ensure that all examinations start and finish appropriately in line with examination board regulations including the conduct of on line examinations

Requirements

- Experience of KSA Colleges of Excellence and SSS curriculum structure is an advantage
- Familiar with Cambridge on line examination processes and procedures
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Highly efficient and organised
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with teachers, examination invigilators, students and examination board representatives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm, composed, tactful and flexible is essential.
