Job description / Role
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Junior/Mid-level Associate to join our esteemed law firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
- Assist senior attorneys in managing case files and preparing for trials or hearings.
- Participate in client meetings, providing legal insights and advice under the supervision of senior associates.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance for the firm's operations and clients.
- Collaborate with team members on complex legal matters, contributing to strategic discussions and planning.
- Prepare case summaries, briefs, and legal opinions to assist in case preparation.
- Support business development initiatives by assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of legal processes and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution; LLM or further specialization is a plus.
- 1-3 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and practices, particularly in corporate law, commercial law, or litigation.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software; familiarity with case management systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
- Must have experience with compliance / regulatory research
Salary:
SAR
25,000 to 35,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
About the Company
Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
