Job description / Role
• Lead Survey and Design team for ISP route and approve from authorities
• Plan and develop complete fiber route design and transmission fordistribution & access
• Coordinate with teams for timely deployment of fiber cable as per standards
• Coordinate with Telecom partners (CISCO) for timely material delivery and installation
• Manage complete equipment installation, shelters, power and electromechanical as needed for site readiness
• Prepare MOP for sites and follow as per approve MOPs
• Follow project schedule and adhere best practices for timely close out of each task in best cost effective manner.
• Ensure pre- and post-installation testing and end to end link testing.
• Make sure equipment powering and Link (Logical) Testing from site to site
• Prepare network schematics as requested for core and distribution network.
• Ensure that the project team finishes on schedule and based on scope
• Manage project resources and costs
• Meet quality targets
• Schedule project team activities and meetings
• Communicate and resolve issues clients and other stakeholders
• Work with project team members and clients in a collaborative fashion
• Manage multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Plan and adhere to project schedules
• Track and manage project deliverables: documentation, requirements, and specifications
• Ensure end to end testing and termination of cables at appropriate standards.
• Provide complete fiber allocation table with clear understanding of fibers allocated for each site.
• Project Close-out: Must obtain project sign off from client when the project is complete
• Manage Client Expectations
• Deliver high level of service
• Escalate and report issues with appropriate resolutions.
Requirements
• B.Sc. Telecom / Computer Engineer
• Experience in Project Management / Technical Manager Experience in handling ISP, Transmission, Projects design and deployment
• Expert in handling Inside plant, fiber optic link equipment and installation
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of permitting authorities / practices and procedures
• Excellent project management, project handling skills, managing & planning manpower
• Excellent interpersonal skills for day to communication, ability to interact effectively with all personnel, vendors and customers
• Proficient in Project Management Software tools and MS Word application software
• Should have Written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
