Job description

• Perform all supervisory functions for the Kids Club staff according to company policies and procedures, including hiring qualified Kids Club attendants, training, and performance management.
• Assist the Service Manager with performance appraisals and corrective actions.
• Schedule Kids Club attendants to meet the current Kids Club budget as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Attend all club staff meetings.
• Keep the Service Manager and Club Manager informed daily of all extraordinary or unusual conditions and situations. Contact supervisors to assist with handling special situations.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Entertainment.
• Ensure that a parent or guardian has signed a Kids Club agreement and registered along with emergency information.
• Ensure that all parents receive copies of the Kids Club policies.
• Ensure that all members utilizing the Kids Club have paid for the services.
• Ensure that the Kids Club area is clean and maintained according to set standards.
• Ensure that all toys and other objects are clean and maintain the safety of children in the Kids Club area. Follow all safety procedures.
• Ensure that all Kids Club staff maintain current CPR certification for all ages.
• Report incidents according to company policy and submit completed incident reports to the Service Manager.
• Assist the Service Manager with all member concerns regarding the Kids Club.
• Train all Kids Club attendants to perform duties according to company policy.
• Provide care to children including paging the parent or guardian to change soiled diapers, cleaning soiled clothing and accessories, attending to their personal needs, and similar tasks.
• Discipline children and recommend or initiate other measures to control behavior.
• Develop and implement activities for the center with attention on the children’s needs and safety at all times.
• Project a positive, friendly, and caring attitude at all times while interacting with children and their parents or guardians.
• Provide parents or guardians with information about the child’s behavior and any unusual occurrences or activities involving their child.
