L1 NOC Engineer (Saudi National)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated L1 NOC Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Jeddah. This role is vital for monitoring and maintaining our network operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and swift issue resolution. This opportunity is exclusively open to Saudi nationals committed to advancing their career in network operations within a leading technology environment.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Respond promptly to network alarms and alerts, identifying root causes and initiating corrective actions.
- Coordinate with higher-level NOC engineers and other IT teams to resolve complex network incidents.
- Document network status, incidents, and resolutions clearly and concisely for future reference.
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and configuration audits.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding network status and ongoing issues.
- Support the implementation of new network technologies and assist with related testing activities.

- Saudi National with valid proof of nationality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, devices, and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Willingness to work in shifts to provide 24/7 network support.
- Eager to learn and grow within the network operations domain.
