Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Social Statistics business plans in line with the organization strategy
- Develop the operational plan for Labor Market Statistics in line with the Social Statistics business plan and Statistics strategic plan
- Implement plans and provide input to Labor Market Statistics goals that support The Organization's overall strategic plans
- Provide input to identify Labor Market Statistics required projects to meet future demands
- Support in identifying and evaluating risks and provide input on the mitigation plans developed
- Participate in Labor Market Statistics annual budgeting cycle and process
- Manage Labor Market Statistics efficiently and within budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
- Lead the design and implementation of Labor Market Statistics policies and procedures covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high impact and achieving results effectively and efficiently
- Encourage team and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices
- taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
- Remain abreast of Social Statistics leading practice and new trends, and identify recommendations for corrective measures, updates and improvements where required
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements in order to identify barriers and develop action plans
- Manage the preparation of progress reports or continuous information and updates direction to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Attend related forums, seminars, etc. to enrich network and learn about the latest developments and opportunities
- Manage, guide and assist team to perform operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Human Resources function to identify and recruit talent for Labor Market Statistics
- Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise incumbents and provide regular feedback on performance
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing The organization's values
- Lead the definition of statistical priorities, needs, and desired outcomes in line with the organization assessed top-down strategy and international labor market statistical trends
- Guide the development of existing / new labor market product implementation plan using developed briefs and business cases to set governance, standards, and methodologies to be applied
- Drive the establishment / update of all statistical publications for labor market ensuring all needed information are available and accurate and guide the development of publications timetable
- Ensure alignment on data collection and statistical methods, standards, and requirements for all new and existing statistical products in coordination with concerned the organization functions
- Guide the analysis of collected data from concerned stakeholders in line with adopted methodology, standards, and tools in order to define relevant statistical indicators and highlight missing / unreliable data
- Lead the establishment of new variables using proper formulas / model assumptions in line with set data analysis policies and guidelines
- Manage the generation of appropriate weights and aggregates for data records taking into consideration several factors (i.e., frequency of aggregate production, importance of data, and suitability of data) in order to reach desired targeted output
- Oversee the production of statistical labor market product ensuring primary and secondary disclosure controls are applied and in line with set methodologies and tools
- Validate finalized statistical labor market products in line with set timetable and product implementation plan and recommend best course of action as needed
- Lead the update of statistical products based on communicated recommendations / corrective actions to resolve quality issues and deviations in coordination with concerned the organization functions
- Ensure proper statistical publication dissemination across targeted channels, in coordination with concerned functions, ensuring alignment with set timetable, methodologies, and policies
- Guide the storage and documentation of statistical labor market products in order to facilitate knowledge sharing and management across the organization

Requirements:

- 9+ years of experience in a Labor Market Statistics field
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or equivalent is required
- Master's degree in Statistics or equivalent is preferred
