Laboratory Project Specialist

Job description / Role

Job Purpose & Scope:

The Client requires the services of F&G to provide Project Management Consultants to support the mentioned project.

The work shall include assisting the project in managing the engineering and construction work. The successful candidate will be based in Dahran KSA and could be required to travel to UK or construction Sites in KSA.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance as subject matter experts on Construction site activities
• Provide technical assistance in project management, procurement, design, construction of a research laboratory or high rise facility
• Supervise Equipment and Material procurement
• Plans and provides work direction.

Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):

• Regular interactions with Project Manager/ Project Controls Manager
• Engineering disciplines, Quality and Procurement Functions

Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:

• Has high visibility to client stakeholders
• Able to work within a defined role with limited supervision
• Exercises judgment in making decisions; know when to seek advice.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience on design and construction of specialized laboratory facilities, preferably in the oil & gas industry, research institutes or similar buildings functionalities
• Due to high complexity and occupancy classification of the new facility, a lab specialist with in-depth experience in labs research facilities design and installation
• An experience in hydrocarbons labs is a plus
• Candidates must be able to travel to the UK.
