Job description / Role
Our client is one of the leading providers of specialist environmental and food analytical and monitoring services. We are seeking to a suitable Laboratory Technician at their laboratory based in Dammam, KSA.

The successful applicant will receive on-the-job training in a wide variety of technical processes, techniques and quality procedures associated with working within a modern analytical laboratory.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Preparation and analysis of samples
• Ensuring that preparation and analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions
• Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies
• Completing all tasks within both the timeframe set by the Supervisor and the relevant analysis standard
• Highlighting anomalies in results and sample type/behaviour
Requirements
• Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in a high throughput, client-focused environment, with preference given to those with previous commercial laboratory experience (preferred but not essential)
• High level of attention to detail, good communication and organisational skills
• Understanding of good laboratory practices
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexible hours/shift arrangements
