WSP Middle East are looking for a Landmark Director with experience on Oceanarium/Aquarium projects to join a PMC mixed-use development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Be responsible for driving the architects to deliver a world class Oceanarium design for Jeddah
* Work with your team to review submissions issued by the Architects
* Be developing the Operational Readiness programme to ensure that the delivery of a World class Aquarium is planned and no stone left unturned to ensure success.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Degree qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Marine Biology, or relevant disciplines.
* 25 years' experience in the design and delivery of Oceanarium/Aquarium projects.
* Should have full Oceanarium/Aquarium project life cycle experience as per RIBA Plan of work stages.
* On the ground experience of Oceanarium/Aquarium management, both project and operations, in a leadership role.
* An understanding of the Specialist works elements of an Oceanarium/Aquarium design and build project.
* A detailed understanding of water quality and Life support systems.
* A thorough understanding of the husbandry of fish species found in the Red Sea/Arabian Gulf/Arabian Sea/Indian Ocean, and their acquisition strategies.
* A creative flare that can be assigned to an Oceanarium/Aquarium design project.
* A full understanding of Operational Readiness development.
* A full understanding of Operational Budgeting and business planning for first year of operations.
* A full understanding of requirements needed in the setup of an Oceanarium/Aquarium.
* Experience in the Middle East is preferred but not essential.?
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to delegate and coordinate responsibilities.
* Strong team player with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and take timely decisions.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
