Lead Commissioning Engineer

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with an international engineering consultancy who is looking to hire a Lead Commissioning Engineer to work for the owner’s engineers for a combined cycle gas turbine project based in KSA.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work on-site as part of the owner’s engineering team whilst representing the owner on all matters related to commissioning with the main contractor. You will document all commissioning activities and report on any contractual non-conformance. You will also provide expert technical advice on all commissioning activities.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 20 years’ experience within the commissioning project building industry with at least 10 years’ experience as a Power Plant Projects Lead Engineer. You Should also have experience in mechanical bias. A background working with GE turbines would be a distinct advantage. This is a 24 month contract residing in a newly built housing complex.
