Lead Discipline Engineer, BIM

Job description / Role

- Ability to clearly communicate to Vendors, Consultants, Construction Leads and Saudi Aramco.
- Proactive; to be ahead of construction and procurement to be able to identify Clashes and prevent their occurrence.
- Understanding the Project File Naming Conventions and how to segregate the Data for Clash resolution with the interaction of the 2D drawings and the BIM Modeling.

Requirements

- Has at least 20 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of the BIM software
- Extensive knowledge of Construction Processes, Phasing of Work and Stages of Billing
- Thorough understanding of P, M, E, Civil, Structural, Safety Practices, GeoTech and Architectural systems to be used on the Project; including actual construction details of hanging/ support systems of MEP.
- Knowledge and experience with Scheduling and coordinating Procurement with Construction
- Knowledge and experience of Standards, Construction Techniques, and Building Codes
- Knowledge of computers and software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), read construction schedules (Primavera).
- Previous Saudi Aramco experience is preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
