WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Lead Engineer for Vertical Transportation to provide technical leadership on high rise building PMC projects on NEOM.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Support the successful delivery of high quality vertical transportation projects on time and to budgets
* Manage high quality vertical transportation designs, primarily focused around elevator and escalator systems within large buildings to the relevant standards and authority requirements, from concept to tender
* Conduct required checks and reviews of own teams designs, including site visits
* Supervise, coordinate and support Engineers and CAD Technicians based in the Middle East and India.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* An Engineering Degree coupled with a minimum of 10 years' experience in vertical transportation systems design in high rise buildings
* PMC experience in the Middle East, preferably on high rise projects over 300m in height
* Experience monitoring the performance of technical standards
* Perform supervisory role including verification of time charges
* The ability to interpret project requirements and procedures
* Experience leading and supervising as the technical specialist on projects
* The ability to coordinate multiple activities in a logical and orderly manner
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able interact effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and colleagues
* The capability to work in a disciplined manner with little supervision
* Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, & Databases)
