Lead - MEP Planning

Job description / Role

The Lead – MEP Planning – Site is responsible for end-to-end planning, scheduling, resource management, and performance monitoring of all MEP disciplines at the site. The role ensures seamless integration of MEP timelines with the master construction plan, identifies deviations, supports decision-making through data-driven insights, and interfaces with execution, subcontractor, billing, and client teams to ensure on-time and efficient delivery of MEP scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare detailed MEP schedules integrated with overall construction timelines using tools like MS Project or Primavera. Break down activities across Electrical, HVAC, ELV, Plumbing, and FPS with logical sequencing and milestone targets.
- Map MEP activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning to key structural and architectural milestones. Continuously update schedules based on site realities and constraints in coordination with planning and site execution teams.
- Track actual progress vs. planned using physical quantity tracking, productivity metrics, and S-curves. Analyze delays, prepare variance reports, and propose corrective actions in collaboration with the execution team.
with civil planners, MEP engineers, subcontractors, billing teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment of goals, smooth work front release, and proactive issue resolution.
Analyze manpower, material, and equipment needs for upcoming MEP works. Assist in resource mobilization planning and support subcontractors in aligning deployment with execution targets.

- Minimum Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi. Regional language knowledge is advantageous for effective coordination.
- Years of Experience: 08–18 years
- Nature of Experience:Leading overall planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of MEP works at the site across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV, and Fire Protection systems

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and sequencing

- Strong team leadership and planning ownership
- Analytical thinking and proactive problem solving
