Lead Piping Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for large-scale petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the piping design team through all project phases including conceptual design, detailed engineering, and execution.
- Develop and review piping layouts, isometrics, stress analysis, and other engineering documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of piping systems with other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the petrochemical industry.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to piping engineering tasks.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical support to team members.
- Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to facilitate smooth project delivery and resolve issues promptly.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a focus on piping design.
- Minimum of 16 years experience in piping engineering within the petrochemical industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
- Proficient in piping design software (e.g., AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, PDMS) and engineering tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Salary:
SAR 15,000 to 28,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
