Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and track Level 1 to Level 4 resource-loaded FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC project schedules using Primavera (P6). Establish and set up project progress measurement system and define the progress rules of credit for engineering and procurement.
  • Track project progress against the baseline schedule, identify deviations, implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare progress and status reports, including schedule updates and performance metrics.
  • Analyze schedule slippage, identify impacts of changes, and perform forensic and retrospective delay and disruption analysis to determine causes and effects.
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data, define objectives, and ensure alignment.
  • Set up alerts for critical contractual and milestone dates. Identify potential project issues and risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and update staffing plan, man-hours and manpower forecasts, charts, and histograms for the project.
  • Lead, supervise, and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to junior planners and schedulers.
  • Key skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum of 10 years' experience in planning and scheduling for pre-FEED, FEED and EPC offshore oil and gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling software Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written) for reports, team coordination, and presentation to the client.
  • Ability to analyze operational data to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems to keep the project on track.
  • Familiarity with the offshore oil and gas industry and its specific challenges.
