Lead Software Tester

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Tester to oversee and manage all aspects of testing within brokerage platform. The Lead Tester will be responsible for leading the quality assurance (QA) efforts across various projects, ensuring that trading systems, financial platforms, and brokerage applications meet the highest standards of performance, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services testing, with a focus on brokerage operations, trading systems, and regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing, with a focus on brokerage or financial services applications.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, order management, and post-trade processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Quality Center).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for brokerage operations, including CMA, Tadawul, SEC, FINRA, and MiFID.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and system functionality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
