Lead Sourcing Specialist 1 - Supplier Management

Role Summary:

The holder of this position will Lead & act as the key sourcing point of contact in Saudi for TPS for Supplier On-time Execution & fulfillment. Will require both strategic and operational focus. He will manage timely execution of all Suppliers Orders also assist in Quality related aspects & work in developing a local vendor base, both in support of future business growth and of current operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Lead Sourcing Fulfillment Leader demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will use your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

- Responsible for working with suppliers to develop a Project execution plan.
- Responsible & leading on time execution of all Purchase Orders to Suppliers
- Arranging & leading regular review rhythms with suppliers to monitor supplier Fulfillment progress.
- Coordinating & organizing Review rhythms with Regional & Global teams & suppliers
- Work with SQEs to assure project deliveries are met (e.g. qualifications, surveillance, etc.)
- Cooperate with Project team and Project Quality Management to identify supply chain risks related to purchased products
- Be the interface with other functions inside Supply Chain to manage the correct supplier execution phase and to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirement
- Coordinating internally with various functions to make sure that delivery schedule is not impacted.
- Responsible for Material Follow-ups.
- Coordination with Logistics for material pickup
- Responsible for Accounts payables to suppliers- Facilitating in resolution of payment issues with suppliers
- Understand strategies for assigned commodities and proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives
- Coordinate with Regional Business & HQ sourcing on sourcing strategies to align to business objectives.
- Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability
- Support commodity buys
- Write reports to track PO activity and supplier performance
- Analyze and track supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure supplier promise date accuracy
- Hold weekly reviews with suppliers and develop telephone log of actions and conversations with suppliers
- Drive effective recovery plans and create payment tracking and invoice analysis. tracking / invoice analysis

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in a Sourcing role & overall industry experience of 12+ years.

Desired Characteristics:

- Additional experience in Sourcing Engineered systems & Raw Material in Turbo machinery Products & Applications.
- Hands-on Experience in Supplier Development & Supplier Quality Management
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling associated with projects.
