Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

What we are looking for:

Lead and perform high-level skilled diagnosis and repair including equipment installation, troubleshooting, disassembling, reassembling, testing and equipment modification of all types of electrical equipment under the scope of assigned PMS Unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Locate faulty equipment, determine nature of repairs and spare parts required to plan work correctly.
- Perform repairs on assigned equipment to minimize equipment downtime and support operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and ensure satisfactory repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Prepare new or modified installations on assigned equipment and test acceptance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Provide coaching to lower level technicians and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer of skills and performance as per standard codes and practices.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Foreman.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- High School: 15 years of progressive experience from craftsman in a refining and petrochemical industry. Diploma Holder: 13 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of diagnostics & repair methods for the electrical equipment in petrochemical industries.
- Good knowledge of international maintenance standards and best practices.

Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $8.4 billion - 25% funded by the public and the remainder equally funded by Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. Petro Rabigh II is scheduled to be in full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and will produce a wide range of new products.
