Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose: Supervise the implementation of performance management, training programs and processes and succession planning.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the performance management system (PMS) in the Group and ensure its completion as per the approved plans.
- Provide guidance to the Group employees pertaining to goals setting and other associated tasks of PMS process.
- Participate with Organization Development Specialist to design and periodically updating the competency dictionary/framework at the Group.
- Ensure that periodic reports are generated with respect to PMS. Analyze the reports and performance appraisal results and share with OD Manager.
- Prepare the annual list of eligible employees for promotions, salary annual increment, bonus and incentives and submit them to the OD Manager for review.
- Establish methods that help reduce turnover related to poor performance.
- Design a training catalogue that covers different functions at the Group.
- Identify training and development needs within the Group through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with Department Heads.
- Develop the annual training plan and individual development plans (IDP) for the Group employees in coordination with Department Heads and submit them to the OD Manager for review.
- Coordinates with Learning & Development Specialists at the Subsidiaries to agree on the mutual and common training courses to be provided to the employees to ensure better planning
- and monitor the training budget.
- Establish and maintain training materials for in-house courses.
- Obtain a soft/hard copy of training material that is provided to the Group employees and keep them in Group’s library.
- Review training materials from a variety of training vendors and choose appropriate materials.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with Department Heads.
- Evaluate training and development programmes.
- Create strong database for training centers/ instructors and maintain a professional relationship with them, and try to obtain the best prices.
- Evaluate the performance of training centers by obtaining feedback of Group employees
- Ensure that the nominated candidates for succession planning program are meeting the requirements and conditions as per succession plan policy.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or Industrial Engineering.
- 3-4 years of experience as learning & development, training specialist or training coordinator. Must be based in Jeddah with experience in KSA.
- Languages: English, Arabic is a must
