Legal Counsel (Corporate)

Job description / Role

The Role: To provide legal support services to the business in line with the policies, precedents, and standards laid down by Almarai’s Legal.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Responsible to identify the right template, customize such templates
- Review and draft transactional legal documents including facilities, contribution and loan agreements
- Responsible to ensure that contract templates are kept updated with the best practices in the standards and policies of Almarai in consultation with superiors.
- Responsible to draft and review all Non- Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Consultancy Agreements, and Engagement Letters (ELs).
- Provide the needed support in all legal matters including corporate finance, Treasury, insurance and compliance matters.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Law
- Essential (NON - ACADEMIC)
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- Commercial contracts with overseas suppliers
- Proficient communication skills in the English language (written and verbal)
- Strong commercial focus with a good understanding of general principles of sound commercial practices.
