Lift and Escalator Package Manager

Job description / Role

Client is a leading international contractor who are currently working on the construction of major section of the Riyadh metro project in Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking to recruit an experience lift and escalator package manager to over see all activities related to the construction of the stations.

The role will involve;
- technical submittal preparation and follow up to approval;
- material approval requests and follow up up to approval;
- Workshop drawing coordination, supervision, review and approval;
- Coordination an management of construction issues.
- Provide direct contact with lift and escalator equipment contractor;
- Produce risk assessments;
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of lift and escalator equipment.

Requirements

Candidate should have a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and should have a proven background in escalator and lift projects either from the contractor side or from a specialised company such as OTIS or Schindler.

Candidates will preferable have experience in the Middle East and should have experience of working on large construction projects.
