Lifting Equipment Senior Inspector – ARAMCO Certified

Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Salary: up to 15,000 Basic, Housing Allowance & Company Car

The Company:

· market leading Testing, Inspection, Certification & Safety business with a global presence and $bn turnover. They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Inspector – Lifting Equipment (ARAMCO Certified) to join their business.

Job Purpose:

· Responsible to conduct inspection activities in accordance with approved inspection plans and internal procedures.

Responsibilities:

Financial

· Compliance with the financial policies and procedures of the company.

Operational

· Supervise and assign activities to lifting inspectors.
· Mentor and train the Inspectors and ensure their progression.
· Carry out inspections/training and duties within agreed authorities and to inspection standards as laid down by Industrial Service Department.
· Plan and arrange all work-related activities in an effective, timely and efficient manner.
· Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure all the customer service standards are met.
· Act on behalf of the company, making full use of technical expertise, when required.
· Identify any possible business opportunities and advise all appropriate business areas.
· Maintain the highest level of quality control.

Administrative

· Prepare and distribute inspection reports/training certificates in professional manner with service standards.
· Prepares and/or maintain reports, files and written correspondence related to the work.
· Ensure timesheets are completed correctly and signed off.

HSE & Quality

· Compliance to all applicable policies, procedures and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO and CMS Standards and the legal/regulatory requirements.

General

· Timely reporting.
· Compliance with company code of ethics.
· Compliance to contractual agreements.
· Cordial work relationship with colleagues.
· Additional jobs may be assigned by the Superior or Senior Management.

Requirements

Education, Qualification & Knowledge

· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
· LEEA Diploma or other Lifting Equipment Training/Certification.
· NDT Level 2 or Equivalent.
· “Train the trainer” certified.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 Certification.
· Professional Knowledge
· Business & Industry Knowledge
· Valid local Driver’s Licenses.

Experience

8 years’ experience in which:

· 5 years’ experience in lifting field (Crane Operator, Heavy Lift/Pipe Lay, Heavy Machinery Operator, Lifting Operations/Lifting Equipment Regulations)
· 2 years OFFSHORE Experience.
· 1-year experience in Senior role.
· Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries within GCC is an added advantage.
· Work experience in other recognized similar organizations is an added advantage.
